Faith - Hope - Love

Last weekend, I went to a three days retreat..
At first I came with a half-hearted feeling..
Because it was really not me and my kind of thing..
But it was different from what I was expected..
I thought it would be boring, 
and actually it was so surprisingly more from what i had imagined..

At the end of those three days, it gives me something more..
These are what i bring home as my souvenirs..

My heart is filled with more faith, faith to the almighty God..
More hope for better future.. I am hopeful..
And i feel more loved..
The love from God, and the love from others surround me..

So, in my spare time, I made this as a tribute.. ^^

STOP

I need to stop.
I know i must stop.

Stop and just quit.

Is it this hard to stop myself?

Proximity Sensor

Proximity, a world that captivated me after a discussion with a friend.

From Middle French proximité, from Latin proximitās, proximitāt-, from proximus.

proximity (plural proximities)
- closeness; the state of being near as in space, time, or relationship.
- the state, quality, sense, or fact of being near or next.

And for this time being, i think i would consider myself to be in a need for a proximity sensor.

A proximity sensor is a sensor able to detect the presence of nearby objects without any physical contact.

A proximity sensor often emits an electromagnetic field or a beam of electromagnetic radiation (infrared, for instance), and looks for changes in the field or return signal. The object being sensed is often referred to as the proximity sensor's target. Different proximity sensor targets demand different sensors. For example, a capacitive photoelectric sensor might be suitable for a plastic target; an inductive proximity sensor always requires a metal target.

The maximum distance that this sensor can detect is defined "nominal range". Some sensors have adjustments of the nominal range or means to report a graduated detection distance.

Proximity sensors can have a high reliability and long functional life because of the absence of mechanical parts and lack of physical contact between sensor and the sensed object.

Proximity sensors are also used in machine vibration monitoring to measure the variation in distance between a shaft and its support bearing. This is common in large steam turbines, compressors, and motors that use sleeve-type bearings.

International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 60947-5-2 defines the technical details of proximity sensors.


A proximity sensor adjusted to a very short range is often used as a touch switch.


So, after reading all of those explanation.
I come to a conclusion we all need to activate our own proximity sensor more.

Let me explain it to you, and by nearby objects i mean love.
Each one of us have this sensor but are we using it in the right way?
When you meet someone, do you feel the electromagnetic field around you, a tingle in your heart, butterfly in tummies, and you will always look for a return signal.
And each one of us, even if we all look for the same object (love), but we must have different "targets", and also different "sensors".
Our "maximum distance" and "nominal range" is also different, some just know in an instant, some other need more time to get to know the "targets" before the "sensors" can work.

And this is the real deal, and the most important thing to be noted:
Our proximity sensors should also have a high reliability and long functional life when there is an absence of "mechanical parts" (if you know what i mean) and lack of physical contact between "sensor" and the sensed "object" (of affection) or in our case could also be the "targets".
Because in my opinion, sometimes the physical contact affect and maybe wreck our sensors and cause us to mislead into something that is not our main object (love).

Hello Tumblr

This year, as a new year, i make new hobby..
And it is tumblr..
Yeaa.. I know it is old and so on..
I maybe should be playing Path because that is what is "in" today.
But, I just found out the joy and fun of tumblr.
And I decided to make one active account on tumblr.
Not planning on leaving or abandon my blog.
They are both exist for very different purpose.
Here is the place for me to write, tell a story, and do and make my own stuff.
This is more like personal and private area to share.
And there (on tumblr) is where i can post and re-blog (mostly pictures) which make my day. Tumblr has tons of great pictures, quotes, funny gif, it is totally entertaining on its own way.
And it is so easy to like and re-blog into my own, so i can keep up-lifting my spirits by seeing the great stuff i "preserve" time to time..
